Attendance Policy

An attendance policy includes a set of rules for the locking attendance of employees. It includes various employee attendance rules for factors like the number of leaves allowed, number of options leaves, number of late punch ins allowed, or number of unauthorised leaves acceptable at a given time.

Under the punctuality guidelines of a company, an employee is bound to log in at the right time. A grace period of certain minutes can be allowed, depending on the policy terms and the designation of the employee.

However, attendance analytics allow HR teams to know if there is any risk of absenteeism or absconding.

Similarly, the timings of breaks for luncheons or short time off from the screen may matter, too. Again, it depends on the attendance and leave policy set up by the firm.

Benefits of implementing and configuring your attendance policy

  • Increase in employee productivity
