uKnowva’s Virtual Biometric Attendance plugin is an attempt to reduce the dependency on biometric machines. It’s working is simple, really. As soon as you log in to your uKnowva instance, you are asked to punch in for the day. All you have to do is enter your plan for the day and punch in. While signing out, punch out while entering the completed tasks for the day.
In addition, the reporting managers/team leads can view the location that their team is working from along with their punch in details. This helps in tracking the attendance and tasks of teams that usually work in the field, like the Sales team.
This plugin works awesomely well in logging a user’s daily attendance. The attendance is automatically marked on the user’s calendar, which is visible by the users themselves and their superiors.
