Team uKnowva recently went for the annual picnic to Camp Max at Kalote Mokashi. This was a 2-day trip; more than 30 employees participated with equal enthusiasm and interest. The idea behind this annual picnic was to foster better communication, coordination, and collaboration between team members across the country. This has been quite an enriching experience for all employees from different corners of Maharashtra and other states/cities.

Picnic to Camp Max at Kalote for Team uKnowva!

Vicky Jain, CEO of uKnowva, initiated the trip, and Mohita Uchil (V.P. and HR Head at uKnowva) effectively managed and supervised the success of this picnic to Camp Max at Kalote Mokashi, which is on the Mumbai-Pune Highway. 

The overall trip was a grandeur success in terms of the following:

  • Team-bonding activities and experiences
  • Recreational activities
  • Unwinding and relaxing 
  • Getting to know teammates better
  • Building trust in teammates from different walks and experiences of their lives

On the first day, 26th Nov 2022, employees assembled at the uKnowva office in Vidya Vihar West. Everyone was excited when we left for the camp at 3 PM. From 5:30 PM onwards, on the first day, Team uKnowva had multiple group activities like dancing, badminton, volleyball, chess, a magic show, and palm reading.

These activities were followed by live music, dancing, and evening snacks. Post dinner, there were activities, including Night Trek and Star Gazing. The day ended pretty well, with everyone participating in multiple sports activities; pretty excited for the recreational and adventure activities the next day at Camp Max. 

On the 2nd day, 27th Nov 2022, Team uKnowva, with co-founders Priyanka Jain and Abhay Talekar, participated in super-relaxing Yoga activities. Bistriti Poddar, the Chief Communications Officer at uKnowva, also joined in for activities on both days. 

From 8 AM to 9 AM, there were other group activities, including rappelling, archery, swimming, treasure hunt, and more. These activities were later followed by breakfast and other exciting team-bonding activities like badminton, table tennis, volleyball, and the like. After these activities, the team was elated with a healthy luncheon, ready to pack for returning home. 

Also, the team made a lot of memories, clicked selfies, and shared the true team spirit throughout each activity included in the itinerary. We know that each team member is looking forward to participating in more such team-building and team-bonding activities

At uKnowva, we believe in the famous quote that says: “One for all; all for one.” The same feeling of being together like an extended family and having a shared mindset was felt through multiple activities.

Such team-bonding activities create memories to live by. Employees get to meet each other, despite working in remote locations otherwise. Activities like night treks, kayaking, rappelling, and badminton matches have taught employees to think collectively, trust each other’s instincts and play with one another’s strengths in the face of adversities. When teams regularly collaborate with the same spirit in the corporate world, the internal reputation develops and evolves beyond expectations.

Team uKnowva is looking forward to encouraging its employees to participate in more such team-bonding activities annually and conquer their fears.
