Businesses should also enable greater employee engagement by removing obstacles such as overlapping mandates, conflicting priorities and insufficient resources. There should be a mechanism to capture employee’s feedback and address them at the earliest so that obstacles which are not allowing employees to perform better can be removed.
3. Offer meaningful work
Encouraging and motivating employees to do meaningful work helps them to deliver higher productivity. Employee engagement is highest when individuals can see how their work is been appreciated and recommended. Leaders need to create a strong vision that will help employees to move ahead in their work and find themselves in the larger part of things.
